About

I hold a B.A. degree in English and History (First-class honours) from the National University of Ireland Maynooth, and an M.Phil. in Anglo-Irish literature (Distinction) from the University of Dublin, Trinity College.

I am an 'Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences scholar' in the School of English, Media and Theatre Studies, NUIM.

My research involves an analysis of phobia in mid-eighteenth-century literary narratives. The project focuses on the poetry of Charles Churchill and on the political and literary careers of both John Wilkes and Edmund Burke.
